How secure is mobile payment?


Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay and Twint are now part of our everyday lives. Paying and transferring money using smartphones or smartwatches has long since become the norm: cashless and contactless.

For this to work, you need to have a credit card saved or the ability to connect to your bank account using the relevant provider’s app. Then you can get started. Payment authorisations can be issued using fingerprint, face or iris recognition. PIN protection combined with the aforementioned biometric checks ensures that only you can authorise transactions: securely and conveniently. However, it is important to keep your access codes private and never disclose them to third parties. If you are unsure, get your card cancelled immediately. Make a note of the contact number for your card issuer or bank's blocking service.
