Cyber criminals often try to scam their victims a second time after a successful rip-off. They keep lists of all the victims who they have successfully scammed in order to lure them into a second attempted fraud. This particularly nasty scam is called recovery scamming.

- Now the trap snaps shut a second time: As soon as the scammers have what they want, they disappear again.
