An empty villa in the Netherlands is currently causing uncertainty in online shopping. So be especially careful when looking for Christmas bargains!

There is a villa in the small town of Amersfoort in the Netherlands. It has no owner, but over 450 companies are registered at its address. These include dozens of online shops with .ch domains that sell clothing, accessories and more. The dubious websites use the dropshipping model, in which orders are sent directly from the manufacturer or wholesaler to the customer. But beware: the quality of the goods delivered is usually unsatisfactory.
