Take care when buying e-vignettes

The Swiss motorway vignette can already be purchased digitally - as an e-vignette - since 2023. But take care: Cyber criminals lure you in with false offers.

11.03.2025 –

Fraudsters use fake websites in an attempt to obtain buyers' credit or debit card details. If you search for "Autobahnvignette” (motorway toll sticker) on Google, the first search results displayed are Google Ads. These are adverts that do not originate from the federal government and link the viewer to fake websites where e-vignettes are offered,. Anyone who tries to make a purchase there automatically falls into the trap.

Never give your sensitive data to third parties without thinking carefully about it and only buy the e-vignette via the official portal of the Federal Office for Customs and Border Security.
