An increasing number of so-called order fraudsters are currently active in Zurich. They obtain confidential card information and personal data from their victims using the phishing technique.
16.03.2018 –16.03.2018 – The fraudsters use them to order goods – preferably electronic devices such as notebooks, cameras or mobile phones – online, and have them delivered to the home address of the victims. Once the order has been placed, the fraudsters wait for the post or parcel service to deliver and steal the goods ordered from their victims’ mailbox.
