In phishing, perpetrators try to obtain confidential information from debit card holders via fake websites, emails or instant messages. They ask their potential victims to provide information such as card numbers or PINs, they’re asked to confirm them online or modify them. To do this, the fraudsters forge websites or email senders in an extremely professional manner and deliberately deceive their potential victims.

The short film by SIX starts off exactly where the deception begins: It provides information and simple tips to protect yourself from phishing attacks.

The phishing short film was produced in German, Italian and French.
