Making a career out of card fraud


A man has been given a six-month custodial sentence in Lucerne for card fraud. The 23 year-old obtained the credit card details of his subsequent victims in hacker forums.

21.03.2018 – He used them to order electronic devices such as mobile phones or laptops in online shops. According to the charge, he practised the criminal activity as a form of occupation to earn a regular income. He acquired almost CHF 20’000 in this way.
