Remember these resolutions for a safe start to the new year:
- Regularly check card statements carefully.
- Never disclose login and card data.
- Activate an alert service to receive a message when payments are made.
- Adjust the geographical settings of your card (geoblocking).
- Always critically scrutinise messages from strangers.
- Choose strong passwords and use two-factor authentication.
- Keep withdrawal limits as low as possible.
