Fake SMS messages claiming to be the Swiss Post


Fake SMS messages claiming to be the Swiss Post have been circulating since early March. The messages are sent from Swiss mobile phone numbers. These SMS messages claim that there are pending shipping costs to be paid before a package can be delivered and prompt the reader to open a link. Those who click the link are forwarded to a website that looks almost like that of the Swiss Post. There, they are requested to enter their credit card information. The police strongly recommends ignoring these messages and not to open the link by any means.
