The holidays are over - so check your bank statements!
During the holidays, people often pay with debit and credit cards. It is important that you keep receipts for expenses and cash withdrawals and reconcile them with the bank statement when you get home. If you find any unauthorised transactions, contact your bank or card issuer immediately and block your card to be on the safe side. The card blocking service for your debit or credit card is available 24/7. In principle, you have 30 days after receipt of the account statement to object to entries.
