On 28 November 2025, countless special offers will be tempting - but scammers will also be particularly active.
25.11.2025 –Because many people pay for their bargains online with a credit or debit card on Black Friday, criminals try to obtain card details using fake shops or phishing emails.
So the rule here is #upfasse - be on your guard!
- Be careful with offers that sound too good to be true and if the providers are unknown to you.
- Always check the sender’s email and URL very carefully.
- Type in the web address yourself (don’t use links).
- Use the two-factor authentication when paying.
- Only authorise payment confirmations once you have checked all the details of the amount and the merchant’s name.
