Survey conducted by gfs.bern on behalf of Card Security

Phishing offences have increased tenfold since 2020. Today, Card Security published a recent survey by gfs.bern on card security and phishing. What stands out is that phishing attacks can target everyone – regardless of age and gender. What's more, around a third of those affected do not know how their data was "phished".

The study demonstrates one thing very clearly: preventive measures, regular guidance regarding phishing and careful card use are essential.

Card Security is the result of a close collaboration by the police and the card industry over many years to inform card users about the secure use of their debit and credit cards and how to successfully recognise phishing attacks.
