#watchout when buying tickets for the Olympics

2024 is a year of sport. The European Football Championships are immediately followed by the Olympic Games in Paris. Thousands of sports fans are rushing to buy tickets. Major events like these not only attract many spectators, but also fraudsters.

That's why you should #watchout when buying tickets: Fraudsters are taking the opportunity to offer counterfeit tickets on the market. A Swiss fan was cheated out of almost 2,000 francs. He bought the tickets via a supposedly official website, but never received them after paying. He then noticed: in the terms and conditions, the operators of the website state that they cannot guarantee that the tickets are available at all or that they are valid.

So be careful: tickets should only be purchased from official providers and the terms and conditions of online shops must always be read carefully.
