For example, they claim that parking fines or other outstanding bills need to be paid. The aim is to steal card details and personal information.

- Always check payment requests carefully
- Never enter card details or personal information on unfamiliar websites
- If possible, disable the 2G function on your smartphone; SMS blasters exploit vulnerabilities in the outdated 2G mobile network standard.
