Pizza ordered - card fraud delivered

Cyber criminals were at work on the Dieci Pizzeria website with a particularly insidious phishing scam. Fraudsters copied the delivery service's website exactly, even including a warning about a fraudulent website intended to deceive hungry customers.

The only difference between the websites was the URL. "Dieci.ch" is spelt with a small “i”, while the fraudulent website was called "Dleci.ch". The webshop and all the contents of the official website were copied. The fraudulent site could only be accessed via Google paid adverts which also looked confusingly similar to genuine Dieci adverts. Several victims of the fraud said they ordered and paid via the fake website. Not a single pizza ever arrived, but the money was gone.
