First big phishing trial in Switzerland

The layout is very similar to that of well-known companies and the text is error-free. In the past it was relatively easy to expose phishing e-mails quickly, but today it is more difficult to recognise the crime as such. The perpetrators’ methods of operation are becoming increasingly professional. Switzerland’s first major phishing trial has recently started in Bellinzona. Three computer experts had hacked information on more than 2500 credit cards in this country alone.
