Christmas market: how to stay safe

The Christmas season is the busiest season of the year. Business is booming, and so fraudsters and pickpockets are also particularly active.

Here are a few tips on how you can still enjoy your visit to the Christmas market.

Avoid taking handbags and backpacks if possible.
Store money and cards in closed inner pockets.
Take only the most important cards and IDs with you.
Be especially attentive if you are pushed or approached.
Keep your PIN and card separate from each other.
When withdrawing money, maintain a safe distance and don't get distracted.
