Why do I need 3-D Secure?

22.09.2023 –

3-D Secure is an internationally recognised security standard for card payments on the internet. If your card is registered for 3-D-Secure, two-factor approval is required when making a purchase in an online shop. This means, for example, that you receive a code on your smartphone. You need to enter that in order to approve the payment. This reduces the risk of fraudulent payments with your card and makes you safer on the web. Your bank or card issuer strongly recommends that you register for 3-D Secure. You can do this easily on your e-banking app. Your bank will be happy to support you.
